SolePack Omega & SP1 Backpack Review

What's going on everyone?? Airjayp is back and today we are taking a look at something a little different than sneakers, but something that is essential whether at the gym, the court, school, or even for just everyday use! As you can already tell from the title we are going to be taking a look at some of Solepacks bags!

First, let's get it started by discussing a few key features and details about the bag as well as the overall brand. Solepack has been in existence since the late 90s or early 2000s, and their passion basically started with wanting a bag to help carry all of their gear, and sneakers comfortably with enough space and storage to also carry their essential items needed as well.

Their goal was definitely achieved and one of the key features with a Solepack bag is being able to keep your sneakers separated from your actual clothing. Now, I know for me since playing basketball competitively since around age 5 that sweaty, smelly sneakers with your clothes is not a good mix especially if you are having to keep them in there for a significant amount of time or throughout your day.

What Solepack did to solve this problem is to create a bag that actually is compromised of two separate items. You have the main bag which is the Omega backpack, and then you have your side pouches that clip on which are called the SP-1’s. The Omega pack is comprised of several different pouches and storage sections that can hold all of your needs no question. The bottom section of the Omega is actually big enough to hold a basketball comfortably with the main pouch even still being able to hold clothing with a ball inside. There is also a separate compartment inside for your laptop which is normally essential for me almost everywhere that I go! On the very top of the bag, there is also a key compartment that I find myself using way more often than not. This area of the bag is where I normally store my smaller personal items such as wallet, phone, airpods, wedding band while playing/working out, etc.

The SP1 or side pouch actually attaches to clips on the front of the bag. Obviously the SP1 can be taken off if you had no need for an extra set of sneakers that day and just needed the actual Omega bag. The SP1’s feature zippers that inside is where you not only store your shoes, but there are labels telling you which shoe goes in which slot, Left or Right. As I said before Solepack wanted to create a bag not only big enough for all your essentials but also to keep your shoes separated from your clothing. They not only did that with the Omega and SP1, but with my experience they did it perfectly!

Now, I know by now your probably already wondering if the SP1’s are able to detach from the bag are there different options for SP1’s, or are they all the same? This is another awesome part of the bag as there are several options for colors, and themes for the SP1. I currently have the Black Omega Bag with two separate SP1’s, which is classified as the Reds, and Oceans. There isn’t too much like rolling to the gym

with a pair of Bred 1s and a Bred backpack! They also just launched their NBA line of SP’1s with several different NBA teams featured!

My overall thoughts on Solepack as well as the Omega and SP1 are nothing short of awesome! I have zero complaints about the bag from the quality and materials to just the overall styling. My Solepack has went with me basically everyday since receiving it and I don’t see that changing anytime soon! Check the link below for their actual site to check out the Omega and all their other products as well!
